Playground named after Jackie Keegan!
News just in from the Seattle School Board meeting this evening:
They unanimously approved, 7-0, the naming of the Arbor Heights Elementary School playground after Jackie Keegan!
Stay tuned for details, a plaque is in the works, and a dedication ceremony will take place in the early fall at the school.

Hi,
I just saw the announcement regarding the dedication of the playground at Arbor Heights, that is great, however someone needs to clean up the playgrou and add some much needed coats of paint to the existing play equipment. Also someone burned a hole into the porthole attached to the big yellow slide.

I too saw the announcement of the dedication of the playground and I agree that it needs cleaning up and a good coat of paint or too beforehand. It is terrible someone choose to burn a hole in the porthole.
